Maileg
Maileg was founded by Danish illustrator and designer Dorthe Mailil and her husband Erik in 1999. This unique name combines their surname Mailil with leg, the Danish word for play. Inspired by a love of fairytale and childhood imagination, they seek to create toys that are a gentle alternative to our technological age's bright, brash toys.
Maileg's creations are made with non-toxic materials and are beautifully tactile. From washable linen and cotton to solid wood, these toys and accessories are designed to pass down through the generations. Made to hug, cuddle and keep.
