Paul Thurlby
Paul is a London-based illustrator working in editorial, advertising and design. In 2011, he published Alphabet Book to worldwide acclaim. Inspired by mid-century design, his images are bold, graphic and often include iconic landmarks and events from around the world. From the OXO tower in London to tennis at Wimbledon, his images depict things close to our hearts. Although he says he “holds his pen in a funny way”, it has by no means affected the brilliance of his work and his clients range from Vanity Fair to The Bank of England. He is also a regular contributor to The Guardian.
