Maja Sten

Maja Sten is a freelance illustrator and designer based in Stockholm, Sweden. She started her practice at Konstfack in Stockholm, where she studied Graphic Design and Illustration, before moving to London, where she received an MA in Communication Art And Design from the Royal College of Art.

Her work is often very colourful and based on flora and fauna, with a folkloric twist/touch, but her practice does vary. Over the years, Maja has made wallpapers, patterns, jewellery, a collection for IKEA, and a monkey portrait exhibition, to name a few.
