Sara Cobley

Sara is an illustration graduate from Norwich University of the Arts. She practices the ancient art of marbling, a technique the Japanese call Suminagashi or “floating Ink”. Historically water and ink have been used to create marbled paper but Sara has given this process an alchemical twist and her unique prints are created by a variety of chemical reactions. She produces images that are not only abstract, striking and potent, each and every one is different.
